The RCS international conference titled "Farmers ... heroes of the future" was held in Brisbane from July 20th to 22nd. 

This was a conference like no other with a range of speakers and themes not previously drawn together in this type of forum.

The conference considered three challenges of the era - world food production, the role of carbon trading in building economically and environmentally resilient farming systems, plus the connection between human health and natural farming systems.

Speakers were drawn from three continents and included reseachers, scientists, practitioners, industry spokesmen and a range of producers. The conference program is detailed below.
